I Still Wonder What Was in That Uber...
This happened when I was in college in the U.S. One night around 2 AM, I was leaving a friend's apartment to go home. We lived in apartments near campus, and the drive was only about 5 minutes. It was late, so I called an Uber instead of walking. My friend waited outside with me until the Uber arrived. Right before I got in, I noticed a large red stain on the passenger door. It was about the size of a toilet seat opening. I remember staring at it for a second, wondering what it was. But still, I said goodbye to my friend and got in. The second I closed the door, I smelled blood. I knew it immediately. It wasn't subtle. The entire car smelled like fresh blood. Not old blood. Fresh blood. It was so strong it felt like someone had poured blood all over the inside of the car. Then I noticed the front passenger seat was folded almost completely forward, which also felt odd. I kept wondering, "Is there something up there?" At that point I knew something didn't feel right. I got scared immediately. I called my friend as soon as we started driving. The driver wasn't Korean, but I was so scared that I couldn't even tell my friend what was happening in Korean because I kept thinking, "What if he somehow understands me?" So instead I pretended everything was normal. I forced myself to sound cheerful. I just kept saying things like, "Yeah, we're passing the library now." "We're turning left." Basically giving my friend my location without making it obvious. I kept talking to my friend, pretending everything was normal. At one point, I looked out the passenger window because I was about to tell my friend where we were. That's when I saw it. There were
